TUCKERTON DECOY GUNNING SHOW

The nationally acclaimed show highlights the working decoy and South Jersey waterfowling heritage. Local talent,past,present and future will be on display. The show emphasizes working and antique decoys, model boats, sneakbox building and waterfowling on the Barnegat Bay. Hundreds of exhibitors display their works of art or merchandise throughout Tip Seaman County Park and Tuckerton Seaport, while friendly competitions and contests take place on picturesque Lake Pohatcong and adjoining shoreline at Tip Seaman County Park.The art contests are set at the Tuckerton Seaport Hunting Shanty while the popular Auction of Decoys & Related Items sponsored by the Tuckerton Seaport takes place on Saturday at the park next to the Tuckerton Seaport food tent. The show will be held September 24 & 25, 2011 RAIN OR SHINE 7:00am to 5:00pm.
